Our Story
We know the NRIs life, may be thriving abroad but your heart is always back home. When something happens a family emergency, a last-minute need, it often means endless calls, unreliable contacts, and sleepless nights. That’s exactly why “Friends of NRI” was born. The Founders
Kamal Kumar
An accomplished leader with over 25 years of multifaceted experience in administration, media, communications, hospitality education, public policy advocacy, and corporate affairs. Throughout his distinguished career, he has shaped institutional strategies and policy narratives across key sectors, while serving in advisory capacities to the Government of India—notably with the Ministries of Railways, Labour, Rural Development, and New & Renewable Energy. His career highlights include institution building and efficiency mapping. This venture is the outcome of a lengthy analysis of needs-gap, felt through interactions at various forums, including PBDs.
Sarita Sayal
With 27 years of cross-sector experience, she is a dynamic leader in the education, hospitality, and real estate industries. Her journey began in the education sector, where she successfully built and expanded school franchise networks. Transitioning into hospitality, she managed operations, streamlining service delivery and boosting event profitability through strategic planning and client engagement. In real estate, she has negotiated high-value deals, and managed property development projects with precision. She brings a rare blend of operational expertise, industry insight, and eadership. Her focus will be on building scalable systems, driving cross-functional efficiency, and aligning business goals with long-term growth in a competitive market.

Sunil Arora is a seasoned finance and business leader with over 25 years of entrepreneurial and executive experience. As the founder of a successful chemical-industry enterprise, he demonstrated strong operational leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to scale a business from the ground up. In parallel, he has led comprehensive financial functions, including accounting, budgeting, and fiscal governance, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and sustainable growth. His extensive involvement in real estate investment and property management further strengthens his expertise in asset optimization and strategic decision-making. A seasoned communications and leadership professional with 20 years of experience in the education sector, specializing in public relations, operations, business development, event management, and strategic communication. She brings energy and clarity to every initiative, inspiring teams and building strong stakeholder relationships. Combining deep industry knowledge with a results-driven approach, she has successfully led institutional PR efforts, strengthened brand visibility. Her expertise spans operational leadership, media engagement, crisis communication, and the execution of impactful educational and cultural events and outreach initiatives. Surender Sandhu
Surinder Sandhu is a seasoned law enforcement professional with 27 years of distinguished service in the Delhi Police. He has held key leadership roles as Station House Officer (SHO) across multiple police stations and has been part of several elite units of the force. In addition, he served as an Immigration Officer at IGI Airport, New Delhi, where he gained extensive experience in security operations and international protocols. With a proven track record in law enforcement, investigation, and public safety, Surinder now brings his expertise to the private security sector as the founder of Dynamic Security 🇨🇦, delivering trusted, licensed, and professional security solutions for events, businesses, and communities.
